The womb is an interesting place. There is a lot about the health of the uterus. Hormones, diet, exercise, stress, emotions, etc., all co-factor into how well we bleed and reproduce.

Unani Tibb is a time-old form of medicine useful in a verity of female complaints and complications. One of its often-used and successful formulations in combating these is Majun Supari Pak.

In simple terms, it cleanses the uterus. The result of this cleansing is the greater toning of the uterine muscles, aiding easier menstrual bleeding and pregnancies (i.e., the uterus is more capable of retaining the fertilized egg and carrying it through gestation). In addition, it acts as an aphrodisiac and nervine tonic, crucial for those struggling with mental fatigue (1).

So, when does the uterus need cleansing? If one is bleeding heavily or too lightly, spotting throughout the month outside of their mensuration window, or has excessive discharge (leucorrhoea), it all suggests that the womb needs some TLC.

Taking any form of medication, whether it be pharmaceutical or natural, is not the only way to heal the uterus (or the body). Diet, exercise, and even therapy to deal with past and present traumas that inhibit successful fertilization can all be used as medicine to help elevate illness and diseases. Remember, the body and mind are one. We would say, however, Majun Supari Pak is effective and safe with no harmful side effects (2). Also, it would be advised to take the herbal formulation under the guidance of a Unani practitioner.

What's in it for the men?

Men, too, can take this formula. It is often used to help male infertility as well as erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
