Actions:

  • stomachic
  • carminative
  • anti-epileptic
  • antipyretic
  • nervine
  • antispasmodic
  • emmenagogue (emetic & cathartic in larger quantities)

Therapeutic uses:

  • dyspepsia
  • torpid (sluggish) liver
  • reducing body heat
  • externally to soothe skin rashes, sprains, etc

Dosage/Application: 1-2 capsules per day or 1-2 teaspoons infused in a cup of water
